"Julie Alcantara is an excellent realtor who actually listens to the needs of her clients. She emails listings that match the requirements that are important to the buyer rather than inundating the buyer with lots of useless listings. We lived 5 hours away while we were working with Julie. If we saw something we were interested in, she would go tour the property for us. Our requirements were rather unique (level lot, ability to store a motorhome on the property, located in a subdivision, attached garage, and no stairs). Most of the homes had garages under the house with lots of stairs or they had HOA restrictions that prohibited a motorhome in the yard. "Oh man, Julie has the patience of a SAINT! My husband and I had several needs based on health and work reasons, plus we just had wants that often seemed to conflict with the needs. We were out of state clients but we still wanted to see a home before buying, we are not the kind to buy site or neighborhood unseen. So every other week we would come up to Chattanooga and drag poor Julie through up to 14 houses in one day. CHattanooga is also a sellers market to boot, so often we would decide on a home on the way back to where we lived, for Julie to have to tell us another buyer already offered or it's off the market already! 4 or 5 times we either had a contract fall through or an offer not accepted or were too late, after more than 90 days and over 50 houses we finally found a house about perfect for us AND got our offer in on time. Each time Julie met with us she was still calm, pleasant, and informative as if it were the very first house she had shown us. We got to have lunch with her several times over the course of the 90 days and she is honestly just a really great person. She never pushed into a house that wasn't right for us and she would usually hold her opinions on a home till we shared ours, trying her best not to influence how we felt, but was always ready to give advice or point out things good or bad if she knew (and by house 10 she did) it would matter to us. I really can't speak any higher of her. Honest, ethical, smart and caring -- if you want that in a realtor - Julie is your best option! "
